Did you know....

Student council meets every Tuesday after school in the Media Center and everyone is welcomed to join.  Mrs. Pietros, Mrs. Printer, Mr. Skalski, and Ms. Vernava are the advisors.   We have had a very busy year which started out with our Lock-in at the beginning of the year.  Everyone had a great time and we are so thankful for all the faculty, staff, administration, and parents who chaperoned our evening. 

Student council has also supported several charities this year.  We donated $300 to the RI Special Olympics.  We also raised $300 for the Make-A-Wish foundation.  Finally, we had a very successful Penny War competition and raised over $1500 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma society in their Pennies for Patients Campaign.  Teams assigned to multi-purpose room A won Del's lemonade for their efforts.

Once again we look forward to the annual 8th grade outing at the end of the year.  Remember your final payment is due May 2nd; don't miss out on all the fun!

Student council continues to update our "Start" bulletin board which recognizes outstanding faculty, administration, and staff.  Finally, we have sponsored monthly spirit days throughout the year.  As of April 3, 6th grade is in the lead, but we have three more days left.  

As you can see we continue to have a very busy and productive year.  JOIN US!
