First Cut: Tryouts will continue for those who make the first cut.

Second Cut: To be announced at the end of the week

 

·        Afternoon tryouts will begin directly after school 2:25 until 4:30pm in the gym

·        Morning tryouts will begin at 6:45 and go until 7:45 in the gym

·        IT IS THE EXPECTATION THAT:

• Come with all required & completed paperwork
• You come to all scheduled tryouts
• You come on time and prepared:

ü      Sneakers

ü      Shorts/ wind pants

ü      T-shirt & long sleeve tee

ü      Glove

ü      Bat & helmet optional (there are some available to use)

§         Give your best attitude and effort!

        8^th graders check the list Thursday morning, if your name is on it~ be prepared to stay after school on Thursday until 4:30pm.

                This year, there could be over 100 6-8 grade student/athletes trying out for the 2008 team…There are limited spaces on the team (16-20 spots)….cuts are a very unfortunate circumstance but are necessary. 

 

                Each coach looks for different skills, abilities, and personalities when putting together a team, just because you do not make this team does not mean you are not good enough to keep playing.
