Appreciation
Alan Shawn Feinstein Middle School of Coventry
This year students will be reading and writing standard notation and applying these skills to keyboards. Students will also perform a variety of songs on keyboards and develop a vocabulary of musical terms.
All Music
Appreciation students are required to have a folder for this trimester class.
Students are also required to bring a pencil and eraser to every class.

Last year “Music Appreciation” students studied the history of “Rock-n-Roll” music including it’s musical
roots, early influences, defining moments and the evolution of this genre.
